Bakkt to offer users ability to transact with Ethereum

Bakkt Holdings (NYSE:BKKT) offers its users and partners the ability to buy, sell and "hodl" Ethereum (ETH-USD) starting soon, the company says. Users will be able to send ETH directly through the Bakkt (BKKT) app, while institutional clients can choose the Bakkt Warehouse for custody of the digital token. The company will offer users access to Bitcoin (BTC-USD) and Ethereum (ETH-USD), which represents more than half of the total market value of all cryptos. "Bakkt users have already enjoyed the app's capabilities to leverage bitcoin and we are confident that our addition of Ethereum will be a complement to our growing ecosystem of partners and assets," said Bakkt CEO Gavin Michael. In the meantime, Bitcoin (BTC-USD) slips 0.74% intra-day, while Ether (ETH-USD) also slides 1.13% in the past 24 hours. Towards the end of October, Bakkt (BKKT) stock soared 50%.
