Cryptocurrency exchange Binance banned from operating in the U.K.

The U.K.'s Financial Conduct Authority says Binance Markets Limited, part of Binance Group, "isn't permitted to undertake any regulated activity in the U.K.," according to a statement.In addition, no other part of Binance Group is authorized to conduct regulated activity in Britain, it said.The regulator also warned about investing in crypto assets generally."Most firms advertising and selling investments cryptoassets are not authorized by the FCA.
