FCP X Tips 001: How to create custom zoom area effects for 4K content [Video]

How Complete Beginners are using an ‘Untapped’ Google Network to create Passive Income ON DEMAND

One of the advantages of shooting video in 4K is that it allows you to zoom and pan within a 1080p project frame while still maintaining 1080p video quality. It’s great for doing faux-panning, or zooming in Final Cut Pro X to highlight specific parts of the frame without reducing video quality. As you might imagine, using such a technique is particularly beneficial for hands-on video tutorials when referencing specific items in frame.

I recently created a custom set of areas to make it quicker to zoom with greater consistency throughout a project. If you’re someone who shoots video in 4K, but delivers in a lesser resolution, then you might considering creating your own custom set of areas as well. Huawei P20 loses the 40MP camera and 5x hybrid zoom of the P20 Pro

How Complete Beginners are using an ‘Untapped’ Google Network to create Passive Income ON DEMAND

If the P20 Pro has three cameras, but the Huawei P20 has only two, which one gets dropped? The 40MP camera, the telephoto one or the black & white one? It turns out it’s not going to be like that. The non-Pro model will simply go back to the battle-tested camera setup of the Mate10 – a 12MP color sensor and a 20MP b&w sensor. The camera will still offer a zooming feature, though at only 2x, it’s not as impressive as Pro’s 5x hybrid zoom. The P20 camera will still record 960fps videos at 720p resolution, according to detailed info from WinFuture. And it will keep the 24MP selfie…

Next to it is an 8MP telephoto camera with “hybrid zoom”. According to unconfirmed info this cam will provide 3x optical zoom, which along with info from the 40MP sensor will help achieve high-quality 5x magnification. Fujifilm announces X-A5 mirrorless camera and first X-series power zoom

Fujifilm has announced the X-A5, a new entry-level X-series mirrorless camera. It has a 24.2-megapixel APS-C image sensor (with a Bayer color filter, not Fujifilm’s own X-Trans array), phase-detection autofocus, automatic Bluetooth image transfer, and 4K video recording. It still has a 180-degree tilting touchscreen, but also now has a microphone jack, which could make it a good option for YouTubers and other vloggers.

Existing Fujifilm shooters, however, will likely be more interested in the lens the X-A5 ships with. The XC15-45mm f/3.5-5.6 OIS PZ is the first motorized powerzoom lens in Fujifilm’s lineup, making for the most compact and lightweight zoom option yet — it weighs just 136g (4.8oz). And, with a focal length of 15mm at the…

The company did not introduce its successor last year, now renders of the upcoming Xplay7 has surfaced along with a PPT revealing rumored specifications of the phone. Renders of the smartphone show sleek design, dual rear cameras, almost bezel-less screen and an in-display fingerprint sensor. This is a huge jump from the predecessor – Xplay6. Some of the smartphones that have 8GB RAM include,  Asus Zenfone AR, OnePlus 5, OnePlus 5T and Xiaomi Mi Mix 2. If the specifications are true, we might see the first smartphone with 10GB RAM later this year. Since these are just rumored specifications, take it with a pinch of salt. Source 1, 2
