In a change of pace, some of the week’s biggest news revolved around new MacBooks and a third-generation Apple Watch, rather than the "iPhone 8." There was more of that of course, along with further signs Apple is pushing deep into original movies and TV shows.

Xiaomi Mi Max 2 set to be announced next week

The successor to last year’s Xiaomi Mi Max will be officially unveiled next week. A quick look at the Chinese company’s official website reveals that the Mi Max 2 is set to be announced on May 25. The device is rumored to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 chipset, and sport a 6.4-inch FullHD display. RAM will be 4GB, while internal memory will be 128GB. The phone will feature a 12 MP main camera and a 5 MP selfie shooter.
