Sony Xperia XA1 Ultra and Nokia 8 getting new updates

Sony has started pushing out a new update to its Xperia XA1 Ultra smartphone. It’s a security update that bumps the build number from 42.0.A.4.153 to 42.0.A.4.167, and delivers the Android January security patch. There’s no information on what other changes (if any) are included in the update. Android OS version stays at 7.0 Nougat as well. Moving on, the Nokia 8 has also started getting the January patch. Sony unveiled three new mid-range smartphones at CES this week, the Xperia XA2, XA2 Ultra, and L2. All three are now up for pre-order in both the US and the UK. Best Buy is the retailer to go to if you want to be among the first people in the US to own one of these handsets.
