How Complete Beginners are using an ‘Untapped’ Google Network to create Passive Income ON DEMAND

HMD Global delivered another shot of nostalgia at the MWC by bringing back the beloved Sirocco brand. Introduced with Snapdragon 835, the Nokia 8 Sirocco was set to arrive in Europe at the beginning of April for €749. Chinese users are a bit luckier though, as the phone is already up for grabs there. The Nokia 8 Sirocco is offered by the Chinese online retailer JD.com at the sweet price of CNY4,699 or around $ 750 (€600). The phone arrives with Android Oreo out of the box, but lacks Google services as is the case with most phones in China. The latest addition to the Nokia portfolio…

Two Sirocco editions, twelve years apart – Nokia 8800 vs. Nokia 8

This Nokia/HMD event at the MWC in Barcelona was an emotional trip down memory lane. The Nokia 7 Plus may have stolen the show, but the Nokia 8 Sirocco and the Nokia 8110 4G have stolen our hearts. The banana phone and the famous Matrix handset – the Nokia 8110 – was brought back from the dead with a modern chip, LTE support, and everything. The 8810 4G will be available at just €79 and Banana Yellow is one of the two color options. But HMD is decided to keep those blasts from the past coming. After the iconic 3310 revival followed by this cult 8110 sequel, HMD dusted off yet another…

Nokia 8 Sirocco Hands On and Photo Gallery

HMD Global introduced the  Nokia 8 Sirocco Android One smartphone at the MWC 2018 in Barcelona. It is an upgraded version of the Nokia 8 with premium design. Check out the Hands On and Photo Gallery. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pz9UgeYHFzg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G6YaPuCHU7g https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Team22WW-A If there was one word to describe the Nokia 8 Sirocco edition, it would likely be exquisite. The company has a heritage of stunning hardware design and HMD is carrying the torch forward with aplomb. The company might call it a special edition but honestly, the design bears little if any resemblance to the Nokia 8. This is all glass phone held together by a barely-there stainless steel chassis. Internally, the phone has a Snapdragon 835 chip with 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage. The phone of course runs Android 8.0. This time around though, the Sirocco Edition is IP67 Rated, has wireless charging and even a bigger battery. The screen is a 5.5 inch 2K pOLED panel that is curved on both sides. Nokia didn’t go with an 18:9 aspect ratio this time around but we don’t really mind that at this size. The phone is compact enough to fit most pockets and feels chunky in a good way. Sure, it is similar to what Samsung has been doing …

The Nokia phone brand has been on quite a journey since its heyday in the late nineties and early two-thousands (or aughts, as David would have me write it). After Nokia’s smartphone business was sold to Microsoft and became the Windows Phone flagbearer while that was still a thing, the baton has now been passed to HMD Global. HMD has been releasing Android phones under the Nokia name for just over a year now, and it’s fair to say the brand is stronger than it has been for a very long time.

Nokia 8 Sirocco trademarked, a premium name will be reborn

HMD is busy resurrecting old Nokia brands, the latest of which is the premium Sirocco line. Model number TA-1005 was just trademarked as Nokia 8 Sirocco. A logo bearing that inscription was found earlier this month. The name is a throwback to the old Nokia 8800 Sirocco, which was named after the Mediterranean wind coming from the Sahara. The Sirocco model differed from the base 8800 with sapphire glass, molded steel panels and a leather case included in the box – it was Nokia’s most expensive model at the time. The TA-1005 model name has previously been attached to the Nokia 9 instead,…
