Honor 7X available for pre-order from Amazon ahead of January 25 release

Honor 7X blue front, back, sides

Last month, the Honor 7X launched in the U.S. in Honor’s online store shortly after it was announced. Now the Honor 7X is making its way to another online shop.

Amazon will release the Honor 7X on January 25th. You can pre-order the device right now, though, with blue and black color options available.

The Honor 7X is sold unlocked. It’s a GSM device, meaning it’ll work with carriers like AT&T and T-Mobile in the U.S. but not on Sprint or Verizon.

As a refresher, the Honor 7X features a dual rear camera setup with one 16MP sensor and one 2MP sensor. You can use these two cameras to add depth of field effects to your photos. There’s an 8MP camera on the front of the 7X, too.

Also included with the Honor 7X is a 5.93-inch 2160×1080 display, octa-core Kirin 659 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and a microSD card slot. There’s also a 3,340mAh battery, a rear fingerprint reader, and Android 7.0 running below Huawei’s custom EMUI 5.1 user interface.

The Honor 7X looks like it could be a solid device for anyone in the market for a new affordable Android phone. It’s got a large display, and while its bezels aren’t the smallest around, they are small. Add to that features like a dual rear camera setup and a metal body and you’ve got a phone with some premium features and a not-so-premium price tag.

Rayark’s Intense New Rhythm Game ‘Cytus II’ Launching January 18th, Pre-Order is Up Now

While a lot of people associate Rayark with their excellent character action game Implosion – Never Lose Hope [$ 9.99], they’re also quite well-known for their library of fantastic rhythm games which thus far include Cytus [$ 1.99], Deemo [$ 1.99], and VOEZ [Free]. Now the Taiwanese developer is readying a sequel to Cytus, appropriately titled Cytus II, and it’s coming really soon: Next Thursday, January 18th to be exact. Check out some of the characters you’ll see as well as some of the furious tracks you’ll be playing in Cytus II in the following trailer.

For reference, we really enjoyed the original Cytus (and Deemo and VOEZ, for that matter) and it looks like the sequel is shaping up to be another great rhythm game experience. As is the cool new thing to do nowadays, you can actually pre-order Cytus II by visiting this link on your iOS 11 device and going through the purchase motions in the App Store. The game’s App Store description goes into more detail about the story if you’re interested, and also states that Cytus II will have over 50 songs at launch and will cost just $ 1.99. If you’re of the Android persuasion don’t worry, Cytus II will be heading to your platform this coming March.

‘Tactical Monsters Rumble Arena’ Coming to iOS January 25th, Pre-Order with Rewards Now Live

We posted about the colorful tactical battling game Tactical Monsters Rumble Arena back in early October of last year, and with the game already being available in Early Access on both Steam and Android for the past couple of months we finally have an official release date for the iOS version of the game: January 25th. Tactical Monsters Rumble Arena is all about battling opponents in PvP, and with cross-platform play and more than a million players already downloading the game from Steam and Android during its earlier release period, there should be a decent player pool for opponents when the game arrives on iOS in a couple of weeks. Here’s a brand new trailer to give you a look at the game in action.

Ahead of the game’s release on iOS, Tactical Monsters Rumble Arena is available for pre-order and developer Camex Games is offering a promotion that will see players getting a 500 Gem Promo Pack for free by pre-ordering the game. Just mash on this link on your iOS device to be taken to the pre-order page in the App Store, and then join the Camex Games Discord server to find out how to redeem your in-game gift when the game launches. I’m loving the look of Tactical Monsters Rumble Arena and with its positive reception on other platforms so far it seems like it will have some real potential to become a huge competitive game when it arrives on iOS January 25th.
