Now it appears Alcatel has jumped the gun a bit, and unveiled the world’s first Android Go phone alongside a slew of other devices. It’s called the 1X, and it’s not much different from a typical budget phone, except for the software.

Some of the phone’s specifications include a quad-core MediaTek processor, 1GB RAM, 16GB storage, and a 5.3-inch 960×480 display.
