It looks like OnePlus has a pair of wireless earbuds in the works. As spotted by Nashville Chatter, a listing on the Bluetooth certification site reveals the existence of a product called the OnePlus Bullets Wireless. Since OnePlus already has two pairs of wired earbuds called the Bullets, it’s pretty clear what this product is going to be. The only big question the name leaves is whether they’ll be fully wireless or still include a wire that wraps around the neck.

OnePlus has already gone on record saying it’ll include a headphone jack on its next phone, so wireless headphones aren’t really a necessity for the company. But it’s not a surprising launch either since the headphone industry is moving in this direction, and there are plenty…

Wireless earbuds are all the rage, especially since manufacturers began making the unfortunate trend of removing the headphone jack from smartphones. Now, it appears that OnePlus is also working on a pair of wireless earbuds, dubbed the ‘OnePlus Bullets Wireless,’ which could potentially launch alongside the upcoming OnePlus 6, according to a Bluetooth Certification listing spotted by Nashville Chatter.

The listing was filed today by OnePlus Technology under the model number BT31B.

OnePlus 6 will let you hide its display notch

OnePlus 6 display notch official

One week after confirming that the OnePlus 6 will have a display notch, OnePlus has confirmed another detail of the OP6’s screen.

OnePlus will allow OnePlus 6 owners to “hide” the device’s notch. This will be accomplished by giving OP6 users the option to black out the background of the notifications and status bar. OnePlus will add this feature to the OnePlus 6 in a software update after the phone’s launch.

According to OnePlus CEO Pete Lau, a status bar blackout feature was considered for the OnePlus 6 early on, but the company opted not to add it so that it could instead focus on the device’s full-screen experience. “I still believe the best way to experience the OnePlus 6 is using the full potential of the display,” Lau says. But many users expressed interest in a blackout feature, OnePlus has decided to give OP6 owners that option.

While some people don’t mind the notch, others really don’t care for it. That’s why it’s good to see OnePlus offer the option to black it out on the OnePlus 6, and it’s possible that this move will help convince some people that were on fence about the OP6 because of its notch to pull the trigger on the device.

What do you think of display notches?

[Update: Now available] LineageOS 15.1 Oreo arrives on the OnePlus 2, Pixel C, and Nexus 6; two more devices get 14.1

After much anticipation, LineageOS 15.1 (based on Android 8.1) was announced last month. Only a handful of devices had official 15.1 builds at the start, but over time, more have been moved up to Oreo. The Nexus Player, OnePlus One, and Oppo Find 7 were recently added to the roster – and now three more devices are coming.

Like it or not, the OnePlus 6 is going to have a notch. In an attempt to soften the blow and deal with the inevitable criticism ahead of the phone’s launch, OnePlus has been bullish about the inclusion. Co-founder Carl Pei did an interview in which he explained the decision and its various merits, and CEO Pete Lau started up a thread on the company’s forum to engage with fans on the subject.

OnePlus 6 will let you hide its notch

How Complete Beginners are using an ‘Untapped’ Google Network to create Passive Income ON DEMAND

It should come as no surprise by now that, like many other Android handsets lately, the OnePlus 6 will have a display cut-out near the top of its panel. Ever since sister company Oppo released its R15 pair there has been little doubt about the design of the upcoming OnePlus. If that wasn’t proof enough, co-founder Carl Pei, later described the notch in detail as well, stating that it will measure 19.62 x 7.69mm and that it will be “adding more screen real estate instead of taking anything away”. That reasoning was apparently insufficient for many anti-notch fans, currently voicing…

OnePlus will let users hide the notch on the OnePlus 6

OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has taken to the company’s forums to offer fans some reassurance about the upcoming OnePlus 6 and its controversial notched display. In response to a loud and passionate negative reaction, Lau says that OnePlus will now offer the option to black out the sides of the screen around the notch and thereby hide it, much as Huawei has done with the P20. I’ve been using the latter phone since its announcement in Paris last week, and I’ve never felt the need to hide its notch, but it’s good to have the option for people suffering from notch allergies.

The OnePlus 6 will get the notch-hiding tweak in a software update after release, Lau says, which again indicates the imminent arrival of his company’s next flagship phone….

OnePlus CEO confirms key OnePlus 6 specs

How Complete Beginners are using an ‘Untapped’ Google Network to create Passive Income ON DEMAND

In a forum post melodramatically titled “Our Pursuit of Burdenless Speed,” OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has confirmed some key specs for the company’s upcoming flagship phone. The OnePlus 6 will have a Snapdragon 845 processor, as you’d expect from a high-end Android phone in 2018, along with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

These specs have been rumored before, and wouldn’t be too surprising in any case. But the options for more memory suggest that the typically value-minded OnePlus is likely to charge more than ever for at least some SKUs of the 6, considering the current state of flash pricing and that the OnePlus 5T only went up to 128GB.

The OnePlus 6 may still be months away, but between Lau’s announcement and the recent exclusive…

Few hours back OnePlus released a teaser saying that the phone will have “the speed you need,” and also confirmed the OnePlus 6 name. Now, in a new post CEO Pete Lau discussed about the performance of the upcoming flagship and said that that company has created specialized team called Team FSE (Fast, Stable, Efficient) to focus solely on maximizing the power of our flagship devices. In addition to Snapdragon 845 SoC, he also confirmed 8GB of RAM with 256GB storage version of the smartphone. It is not clear if the company will have the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage version as well. In the forum post, Pete Lau, CEO and Founder of OnePlus said: Understanding the relationship between people and smartphones, we brainstormed with our community of OnePlus users to learn what the users want most – a flexible, light and quick experience. Keeping these parameters at heart, we have conceptualized the OnePlus 6. To make this experience a reality we have established within our ranks a special R&D unit, called Team FSE (Fast, Stable, Efficient). The one goal of this unit is to ensure that we can transcend the current norm with providing our users with what we believe to be a …
