Viral trivia sensation HQ looks like the future of both mobile gaming and live TV

Perhaps you’ve noticed your friends or coworkers looking at their phones intently this past week, at about mid-afternoon or late into the evening. The phone is now officially listed on Oppo’s Chinese website so people can register their interest in buying it. There’s also a live product page for the Oppo R11s. Google Pixel 2 pre-orders are now live in India, price starts around $940

Google’s new Pixel 2 phones are now available to pre-order in India. Flipkart currently has the phones listed on its website, with pricing starting at INR 61,000 (around $ 940) and going up to INR 82,000 (around $ 1,265) depending upon which variant you go for. As for shipments, the standard Pixel will be released on November 1, while the XL model will start shipping November 15 onwards. ‘Clash Royale’ King’s Cup Challenge Is Live, and It’s Fun

Supercell continues to give us new, fun ways to play Clash Royale [Free], and this week’s King’s Cup Challenge is among the most interesting, at least for me. The King’s Cup Challenge is a blind deck style Challenge where you get a deck created by the teams competing in the King’s Cup Tournament. Specifically, YouTubers and pro players worked together to create each team’s “Signature Deck” for this Challenge. There’s the “Viva La Sparky” Deck, the “Tower Tornados” Deck, and many others, which we can check out here to prepare in advance for the Challenge. Some decks felt more powerful than others, but overall all of them are well-built.

In order to In order to play the Challenge, you have to do a practice run, and once you do that, you get a free Challenge run. If you get 6 wins before losing 3 times, you can play the Elite Challenge, with better rewards. ‘Animal Crossing Pocket Camp’ Pre-Registration is Now Live

Over on TouchArcade’s Discord we were real curious if the Animal Crossing stream would end with a surprise that the game would be released. Well, sort of similar, the pre-registration went live instead. iOS users can register using their Nintendo account, while Android folks can use either their Google or Nintendo accounts.

Despite being live in Photos, Google Lens is only coming to Assistant in a few weeks

Google Lens has been a long time coming since its announcement at I/O in May. It officially launched with the Pixel 2 and 2 XL and yesterday it also started rolling to the first generation Pixel and Pixel XL. However, that was and still is only in the Photos app. Lens, if you recall, should work both for Photos you’ve already taken but also for instantaneous visual searches in Assistant without requiring you take a photo first.

Instagram’s new ‘Go Live with a Friend’ feature adds split-screen livestreaming with two users

Instagram’s had live video since December 2016. But back in August, Instagram revealed that it would be adding the ability for users to invite a friend to their livestreams “in the coming months.” Well, it’s been a few months, and the company has delivered on its promise. ‘Go Live with a Friend’ is out now with version 20 of the Instagram app.

The feature is pretty self-explanatory; when you start a livestream, you’ll have the option of inviting someone via a little icon with two faces.
