LG’s iPhone X Clone Looks Just as Disappointing as the Rest

How Complete Beginners are using an ‘Untapped’ Google Network to create Passive Income ON DEMAND

Ever since Apple unveiled its radically redesigned, edge-to-edge display-equipped iPhone X last October, Android OEMs have been scrambling left and right to build flagship smartphones mimic Apple’s crown jewel from an aesthetic standpoint and try (unsuccessfully) to incorporate some of Cupertino’s most advanced new technologies. We’ve witnessed an overwhelming number of Android flagships from the […]

LG’s non-G7 to come with an LCD instead of an OLED display as a cost-cutting measure

How Complete Beginners are using an ‘Untapped’ Google Network to create Passive Income ON DEMAND

LG will reportedly opt for an LCD panel for the upcoming G6 successor, Korean market analysts predict. It will be a measure aimed at keeping costs in check as OLED displays, their advantages aside, can be two to three times as expensive as comparable LCDs. P-OLED LG V30 (left) next to LCD LG G6 That said, LG’s G-series smartphones have traditionally been equipped with LCDs anyway, so it’s hardly a surprise that the G7 (which in all likelihood will not be called that) won’t use an OLED either. Speculations were fuelled by the adoption of OLED for the V30, and the notched renders of…

T-Mobile promises Oreo updates for LG’s G5, G6, V20, V30, and V30+

How Complete Beginners are using an ‘Untapped’ Google Network to create Passive Income ON DEMAND

LG definitely isn’t known to be the fastest at issuing software updates for its smartphones, including the newest models. It’s an even bigger issue with its older handsets, but here’s some good news on that front. In the USA, T-Mobile says it’s working with LG to create and release updates to Android Oreo for the G5, G6, V20, V30, and V30+. This information currently resides on the software support pages for the aforementioned models on its website. The exact wording is “T-Mobile and the device manufacturer have agreed to support a new software update”. The current phase of this project is…

LG’s ‘Judy’ phone to have model number LG G710

Earlier this month, Evan Blass tweeted about an LG phone with the codename ‘Judy’. With high-end specs, the phone is set out to be LG’s next flagship smartphone and is to be announced some time in June. Today, Blass tweeted specifically about Judy’s possible model number: LG G710. For reference, the Korean variant of the LG G6 was ‘G600′, so it’s entirely possible that this could be either related to the G6 or a total successor to the G6. Although Blass claims that “G7” will not be Judy’s official name, this leaked model number tells a different story. The model number on Judy, for…

LG’s V30S ThinQ is a V30 with more RAM and AI

LG is usually one of the big hitters of Mobile World Congress. In 2016, the company used this show to debut its radical LG G5 modular flagship. In 2017, we saw the LG G6, which was among the first phones with an almost bezel-free display. But in 2018, LG is giving us a rehash: the LG V30S ThinQ.

Yes, I agree, that name is awful.

The V30S retains the exact same design as the V30, the same dual-camera system, the same 18:9 display, same 3,300mAh battery, and same Snapdragon 835 processor. The only upgrades are to memory, with the V30S stepping up from 4GB of RAM to 6GB, and from a choice between 64GB or 128GB of storage to a 128GB or 256GB selection. The colors on offer are called New Platinum Grey and New Moroccan Blue, in case they’re…

It is already known that LG will be introducing an enhanced version of the V30 smartphone with A.I features at the MWC 2018 later this months, instead of G6’s successor. LG’s next flagship phone may tout an extra-bright, low-power screen

LG’s next flagship arrives in June with Snapdragon 845, 6.1″ screen, stereo speakers

Since the G6 was unwrapped at MWC last year, you might expect LG to unveil the G7 at the end of this month in Barcelona, but you’d be wrong. The Korean company has recently decided to overhaul its launch strategy, so all we’re getting at MWC 2018 is apparently an AI-infused iteration of the V30. LG’s true next flagship smartphone is set to arrive in June, according to a new report from VentureBeat’s Evan Blass, a.k.a. @evleaks. This device will not be called G7, which means we may bid farewell to the G series. Right now it’s known only by its codename: Judy. LG V30, Judy’s…

Cash For Apps: Make money with android app

Earlier this year, LG announced that it would no longer release smartphones on a yearly schedule, opting to launch new models “when it is needed.” Shortly afterwards, a report from The Investor claimed that LG was starting over on its next flagship. And all the while, there were conflicting reports on whether the phone would be called the G7 at all.

According to a new report from VentureBeat, the phone will not be branded as the G7, and has a codename of “Judy” inside the company.
