OnePlus 6 arrives in June with Snapdragon 845, CEO reveals

Late last year a purported list of smartphones arriving in 2018 with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 chipset on board got leaked, and it mentioned the OnePlus 6 would be launching in June. Now in an interview with CNET, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has confirmed both of those details. “There’s no other choice” for his company than the Snapdragon 845, Lau said. The handset is scheduled to launch late in the second quarter, which ends on June 30. LG Pay reportedly launching in the US by June, will work on upcoming LG phones

According to an article yesterday published by Yonhap News Agency, LG is reportedly releasing its LG Pay service in the US by June. The report also claims that LG’s upcoming G7 and V40 handsets will accompany the launch. For the unfamiliar, LG Pay service will enable users to make payments with supported LG devices on normal credit card readers, similar to the MST used by Samsung.

If Yonhap News Agency’s coverage is accurate, this confirms some of the same information that we recently found on the (presumably) accidental release of LG Pay on the Play Store, in the description of which the LG G7 was referenced.
