The first time Samsung took a swing at completely wireless earbuds, the results weren’t great. However, the 2018 revision of the Gear IconX was much better. These earbuds have better battery life, an improved charging case, and they’re super-compact. The MSRP is just a bit high. The price has been coming down on Amazon lately, and even lower than usual right now. You can pick up the black IconX earbuds for $ 149.89.
Samsung’s Gear IconX once held a retail price of $ 200, but we’ve seen them deeply discounted too – still, you can’t beat “free”. Samsung US is throwing in a free pair with every Galaxy Note8 or an S8 phone, including the Galaxy S8, S8+ and S8 Active. You need to buy the phone through Samsung.com or via the Shop Samsung app. The deal is valid for unlocked phones as well as AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile and US Cellular phones. You have until the end of February to decide, so you can watch the Galaxy S9 unveiling before committing to an older Galaxy S8. Source
The first-generation of Samsung’s fully wireless Gear IconX earbuds were good, with one glaring flaw: horrible battery life. When connected to a phone, these could scarcely reach 1.5 hours of playing time. Thankfully, with the second-gen model, Samsung has upped the battery life to a noticeably-better 5 hours. And for Black Friday, you can pick up a set for $ 149.99, a not-insignificant $ 50 off MSRP.
The ‘2018 Edition’ of the Gear IconX (it’s not 2018 yet, though!) doesn’t make huge changes over the first-gen model aside from the non-terrible battery life.

Samsung showed off several new accessories at IFA a few weeks ago, and two of them are about to go on sale. Starting this Friday (the 13th), you can drop some cash on the Gear IconX earbuds and Gear Sport smartwatch. The aforementioned cash will be substantial, though. The smartwatch is priced at $ 299.99 and the earbuds are $ 199.99.
The Gear Sport is a smaller, somewhat sportier cousin of the Gear S3.
With the a new generation of Gear IconX headphones headed to stores, Samsung is clearing out the inventory of the older model – and it’s a great deal. The fully wireless earbuds are down to just $ 50, a quarter of their retail price (i.e. $ 150 off). Keep in mind that this deal is while supplies last (obviously) and only the White color option is available (the Black ones ran out before our eyes). Also, shipping isn’t very fast – it’s free, but you’ll wait 7-10 business days. Samsung Gear IconX wireless earbuts (with built in music player) Hit the Source link to check out this…
Looking for a pair of truly wireless earbuds on the cheap? Samsung’s got just the thing for you: it’s selling the first-generation Gear IconX for only $ 49.99 – a whopping $ 150 off its MSRP. But given the ridiculously low price, you’ll probably have to hurry.
The Gear IconX was Samsung’s first attempt at true wireless earbuds. It excelled in most departments, but fell down in one major arena: battery life. That means that you’ll get good sound and a good fit, but for only about an hour and a half.
Samsung has already unveiled the Galaxy Note8 just a week prior to the IFA in Berlin. It did even spill the beans, accidentally or not, on the Gear Fit2 band. So, what was left for the actual expo then? The Gear Sport, of course, the next-gen cord-free fitness earbuds – Gear IconX (2018), and some additional information for the previously obscure Gear Fit2 Pro.
