We look at the KFC chicken crisis of 2018, look at the new AR app from Brian Eno and meet the couple that cost Google £2.1 billion.
Oh, KFC. For every bizarre stunt you pull off, like chicken-flavored nail polish or a nightmarish VR work training experience, you tease us with useful combo meal tchotchkes like a phone-charging takeout box. Unfortunately, 'tease' is the word, since…

Carmageddon is a classic game that involves equal amounts of racing and running over defenseless pedestrians. A new game in the series, Carmageddon: Crashers, pits you against someone your own size – imagine if playing chicken and drag racing had a violent baby. You build and upgrade your car to go head to head (literally) against equally mean cars. Don’t worry, you can still shoot down the occasional bystander with your zappers. Hot off the heels of last year’s console and PC release of Carmageddon: Max Damage, Android is receiving its very own new game in the Carmageddon franchise titled Carmageddon: Crashers. If you want some more gaming silliness in your life, you might want to apply for the Chicken Jump beta for iOS and Android. This game is trying to invent a new genre according to its developers called “Endless Stander;” all you do is try and time your jump as best you can so you can survive all the incoming vehicles, buildings, and other such craziness. As you can see from the trailer, you get to control as many little humans as you can at the same time and try to save them from their impending doom. Or you can play the game with others on the same device.
As is the case with these kinds of games, there are tons of characters you can unlock, but the fun part is that the characters in Chicken Jump come with different special abilities, like slowing down the traffic. The game also has minigames for extra silliness. You can already get the beta version of the game on Android and also apply for the iOS beta here.
